What was the highlight of MARQUEE Playa Hotel
I would come again to this hotel.
The location is great! took us some time to find the entrance and there wasn't a clear sign for the hotel. Its close to everything, and its one street parallel to the main tourist street, so its much more quite. Everything is new and clean. The staff was great. The first day we arrived, the elevator didn't work, so they gave us a 10% discount.
Breakfast is NOT in the hotel, you need to go few min. away to a different hotel and it was very basic. You have a set basic menu and anything else you need to pay for it. If you can, don't take the breakfast option, and go out every morning to have breakfast somewhere else. Even tough its not on the main tourist street, one of the nights we had a lot of noise from the street. But all in all, its very quite compared to the main street.

Very Good
Room is so clear and new. Exactly like the pictures. Staff were great and helpful. Location is perfect, a lot of place to eat, at least two convenience stores in 5 mins distance. A lot of restaurants too!
AC was directly above the bed so I got headaches in the morning. Also my room was right next to the club so all night club music, which was pretty loud

Exceeded the price by its quality!
it is very near the famous club coco bongo and the tourist must go spot, 5th avenue. convenient stores are super near and lots of local restaurants are located beside the hotel. I have to say that the concierge are very nice. We did not bring a credit card but they still figured an alternative way which was very helpful. The bathroom is super nice too, huge shower and the water doesn’t taste funny at all.
It was perfect at this price. I could not asked for more!
